Determining test process risks (and countermeasures)

In executing previous activities, the test manager obtained a picture of the (im)possibilities for the test process, but also of threats and risks. The master test plan indicates, for each risk, whether, and if yes, which, countermeasures have been taken to cover or mitigate the detected risk.

Explicitly specifying the risks for the total test process, improving the client’s and other stakeholders’ understanding of the risks for the test process and enabling them to take them into account in the management of the total process
